On 14 March 2023, the UK Medicines regulator approved an application to reclassify the erectile dysfunction medication Cialis. When marketed asCialis Together(tadalafil 10mg), it will be a ‘P’ (pharmacy) medication, and so available ‘over the counter’ in pharmacies – see. This follows the 2018, ‘P’ classification of (sildenafil 50mg) which has been available OTC, without a prescription, since then.

Unfortunately, there is a strong black market in the UK for ED medicines, which are often unlicensed or counterfeit. UK Border Force and the MHRA seize millions of pounds of these fake products from criminals annually. This new classification of tadalafil 10mg will enable men who suffer from ED to obtain it safely from a local pharmacy.
Sanofi, the drug manufacturer, is expected to launch Cialis Together later in 2023. Cialis Together will be available to purchase in pharmacies without a prescription by men over 18 with erectile dysfunction. Cialis Together tablets will contain 10mg tadalafil and the maximum pack size will be 8 tablets. Other doses and pack sizes of Cialis and tadalafil will still be available on prescription through doctors and specially trained pharmacists. Before purchase in a pharmacy there must be an assessment with a pharmacist, who will check that Cialis Together is appropriate and safe, or whether consultation with a GP is necessary.
Men suffering with ED will have another treatment option with the convenience of purchasing it in their local pharmacy, including pharmacies found inside supermarkets (eg. Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury’s). The pharmacist will ask some health questions, may check blood pressure, and will advise on treatment with Cialis Together or Viagra Connect, or the need to consult a GP. Pharmacies usually have a private room for such discussions.
Cialis Together is a 10mg tadalafil product for use at least 30 minutes prior to anticipated sexual activity. Its effects can last. It is not recommended for daily use. The maximum recommended dose of Cialis Together will be one tablet in 24 hours. Prescription Cialis and tadalafil will still be available at different doses.

We at Dr Fox are aware of the difficulties men have in discussing ED with their GPs and in accessing ED medication. We know that Cialis is effective and safe for most men and this change provides another option for obtaining ED treatment. Pharmacists are health professionals who are able to give ED advice but they will also know when to refer men who would benefit from a doctor’s assessment. ‘P’ medicines can also be supplied on prescription, and we will offer Cialis Together, when available, alongside our other competitively priced ED products.

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved a new formulation of Cialis, which is also known as Tadalafil, in an attempt to improve blood flow to the male genitals. Cialis is a type of drug known as a phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor, which works by relaxing the blood vessels in the penis, thereby increasing blood flow to the genitals.
“Cialis is a very interesting drug to consider,” said Jim Sage, assistant director of the FDA’s Office of Generic Drugs. “It’s an amazing new drug that has been used by thousands of men and they are looking forward to its introduction as soon as possible.”
Sage added that the new formulation of Cialis is similar to Viagra, which treats erectile dysfunction. “It’s a very interesting drug that has been used by thousands of men and they are looking forward to its introduction as soon as possible,” he said. “We are excited to introduce this new drug to the market, and we will be discussing the benefits and the potential side effects of the drug with our pharmacists and patients.”
Sage said he was not satisfied with the overall efficacy of Cialis, noting that it was not the first drug approved for the treatment of erectile dysfunction.
“The most common side effects were headache, back pain, muscle aches, and a stuffy or runny nose,” he said. “Cialis was originally developed as a treatment for prostate enlargement, but it was later found to be effective in treating impotence.”
In addition to Cialis, Sage also co-led the company’s “Erection Pill” campaign with Pfizer’s Cialis and has been featured in magazines such as The New York Times and The Washington Post.
The FDA has approved several other Cialis formulations, including the new Cialis XR-D pill, which is now available in a generic form.
“We are pleased to be working with Cialis,” Sage said. “We’re excited to see how this new drug works in our patients, and we will be discussing it with our pharmacists and patients to ensure the drug’s efficacy and safety.”
The FDA approved a second formulation of Cialis, called Tadalafil, as well as a similar drug, which is used to treat erectile dysfunction.
“We are very proud to support the development of this drug, and we are very excited about the opportunity to help improve the lives of men,” said Dr. Marc E. Lechleiter, director of the FDA’s Center for Drug Evaluation and Research.
Lechleiter noted that Cialis has been used for over 50 years as an effective treatment for erectile dysfunction.
“We are very excited about this drug, and we are very hopeful that the drug could make a significant difference in the lives of men,” Lechleiter said.
Dr. John Lechleiter, director of the Center for Drug Evaluation and Research, said he was confident that this new Cialis formulation would work in the United States.“I think it is highly anticipated that this drug will be able to treat erectile dysfunction and help patients,” Lechleiter said.
Cialis XR-D pill is currently approved in the United States. The drug was developed by Pfizer. Pfizer announced that it was marketing the product in the United States under the name Cialis.The company has been exploring options to develop a drug for men with erectile dysfunction and Cialis would be an option for women who are unable to achieve or maintain an erection.
“We think that this drug would be an attractive option for women who may not have been able to achieve an erection,” Lechleiter said.
The FDA has approved a second formulation of Cialis. The drug is currently available in a generic form. Cialis is the second-best-selling medication in the United States.
“We are very excited to be working with Cialis,” Lechleiter said.
Cialis has been shown to cause some mild side effects. Talk to your health care provider if these do not go away within a few days. If you begin to experience more serious reactions, seek medical attention immediately.

Specifically, you should inform your health care provider of any alpha-blocker, antifungal, HIV protease inhibitor, or high blood pressure medication you are taking. Remember to mention any herbal products you use, especially St. John’s wort.
